Hope Springs Chicago Cast Iron Skillet Steak 


Favorite Thick Cut of Steak

Marinade (per steak)
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
​2 TBLS Balsamic Vinegar
​1 TBLS Worcestershire Sauce
​1 TBLS Soy Sauce
​1 TBLS Honey
​1 - 2 TBLS Hope Springs Chicago Steakhouse Spice Blend


1. In bowl, mix marinade.

2. Place steak in re-sealable bag.

3. Pour marinade over steak and seal bag. 

4. Place in refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours. 
5. Remove from refrigerator and bring to room temperature. 

6.  Place cast iron skillet in oven and heat to 500 degrees.

7.  When oven is heated, remove skillet (do not turn off oven) and
     place skillet on stove top on high heat. 
8.  Cook steak on high heat for 30 seconds on each side, turning with tongs. 
9.  Place back in 500 degree oven and cook for 2 ½ minutes.
10. Turn steak and cook for another 2 ½ minutes.
      Note: This is for a medium steak. Cook 30 seconds less on each side for
      medium rare or 30 seconds longer on each side for medium well done.
11. Remove from oven and lightly cover with aluminum foil and let
      rest for 2 minutes.Serve and Enjoy!  

Note: Easy to cook out on the grill too!
